McBusted 13th May 2014!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have been a bit quiet over the past few days, I traveled back to my home-town of Chester to see my family so things have been a little bit hectic!

Another reason that I traveled home was that last night I went and saw McBusted at the Liverpool Echo Arena and oh my god it was amazing!

I was lucky that my boyfriend bought me tickets a while back so we had super good seats and I managed to get some great photos.

They played all my favourite songs, the best definitely being Thunderbirds!

I was a MASSIVE Busted fan when I was younger and was fortunate enough to see them live when I was 10 or 11 so I had been looking forward to seeing this concert for ages! I felt like I was a little girl all over again!

It was such a good night so I thought I would share with you some of the pictures I took.

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading! Let me know if you're a McBusted fan and whether you have seen the concert too!

Until next time! :)

April Favourites!

I can't believe that another month has flown by, mind you I have been so busy that I have hardly noticed the time pass.

This month I have been loving quite a number of different products. April is always a good time of the year as for us student it means that our loans go in, which of course means that I went shopping..oops!

Starting with make-up products, I have been obsessed with Soap and Glory lately. The great thing with this brand is that their prices are affordable, good quality and usually on a 3-2 offer!

The first product which I think is an absolute god-send is the Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil. I have been using this on a daily basis and I think it has absolutely transformed my eyebrows. One end has a felt tip and this is what I primarily use to shape and fill in my brows & the second end is a waxy type of pencil which is great for blending any spots that the felt tip has missed. It retails in Boots for £10.00 and I wear the shade Brownie Points.

The second product from Soap and Glory which has become another staple in my make-up routine is the Kick Ass Concealer, in the shade Light. This concealer is brilliant as on the left side is an under eye brightening concealer whilst the right is perfect for blemishes and redness. It also comes with a little powder too and is a great all in one to keep in your handbag. It retails in Boots for £10.00 also.

Next on my list is two products combined. The first is by Bourjois and is their Delice de Poudre bronzing powder. As I have such fair skin I have never found a bronzer which works well with my complexion however I have been loving this product this month. I use it with my Real Technique's Stippling Brush which is the other beauty fave that I have been loving. I am a super lover of the Real Technique's brushes and have been dying to get my hands on this one for ages. It is the perfect combination and buffs the bronzer into my skin with no problems at all. I wear the lightest shade and it retails for around £6.99 and the brush at £11.99

My last beauty item is the lipgloss Aurora from Tanya Burr's Lips and Nails collection. I have never been a lipgloss fan until I tried this and boy did my opinion change! It is such a lovely pink colour with flex of sparkles throughout, it is also easy to apply, long-wearing and smells amazing. If you haven't heard of Tanya Burr which i'd be shocked if you hadn't!) then I'll link her channel so you can check her out. This can be picked up in Superdrug or from Feel Unique for £6.99.

Next is hair care and I have been loving Herbal Essence's Bee Strong hair mask. If you have dry and damaged hair like mine then I fully reccomend looking into this product. I use it once a week instead of my conditioner and leave it in for up to 5 minutes and it leaves my hair feeling super soft. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner along side of it which I also adore. Also it smells super amazing! It retails for £4.79 in Boots.

For skin care I have been frequently using this Tea Tree Spot Wand from Boot's own range. This product states that it "fights spots and instant action" which I love the sound of. My skin thankfully doesn't get an awful lot of spots but I get the odd one now and again which often scars. This product has one end for use in the day and for the night and is a cheap £3.59

Last is my non beauty-favourite  item of the month which is the television series One Tree Hill. I absolutely LOVE this show and was so gutted when it finished for good so I bought the complete boxset. If you haven't seen it and you are interested in American soapy kind of shows then I'd suggest this. My favourite character is Brooke but I am also a big lover of Peyton too.

So that is it for my monthly favourites! I hope you have enjoyed reading about them as much as I have enjoyed using them.
Let me know in the comments what you have been loving this month or if you have used any of the products I have mentioned and your opinions on them.

Thanks everyone, I hope you're all well and have a lovely week :)

Update: Where have I been?

I'm back! It's been a long time since I last posted on here and so much has happened in that time!

I've been super busy with University work and it is only a few short weeks until I finish my third and final year! It's so crazy how the time flies but I'm looking forward to my education finally being over and having a Degree.

I'll more than likely do a post in the near future explaining in depth where I have been over the last 10 months. But for now I just wanted to let you all know that I am returning and I have lots of exciting blog posts in mind which I am so excited to share with you all.

You may have noticed that my blog has had quite the re-vamp and I have deleted all my old posts. I did this purely as I didn't feel that they now suited the new tone of what I want my blog to be like.

I'll be posting more regularly regarding topics such as a variety of hauls (make-up, clothing, home-ware etc), product reviews, tips and hints as well as including lots of insights into my life and what I have been doing because in just a months time....

...I'm moving to Norfolk! I'm moving in with my boyfriend & his family for a few months until we get settled in finding a job and our own flat, but I am so excited! This is such a big change for me as i'll be living the other side of the country to my family and I won't have any friends so I will be completely starting over but I am really looking forward to it.

Thanks for those who have stuck around, it really means a lot and I am looking forward to blogging once again and sharing such a big change in my life with you all :)

Let me know in the comments if you have any ideas of what you would like to see from this blog in the future and I'll be sure to note them all down.

Thanks for reading and I will speak to you all soon.
